The Muses – Adrienne Muse, a self-taught visual artist (based in Los Angeles) who until four years ago had only "doodled" as a hobby. After meeting her wife, Janeeka in 2012 and discovering her passion to create, she decided to take a leap of faith, left her high paying banking job, and moved to Los Angeles. Upon marrying her wife, Muse was disowned and became homeless with her wife and two children. The turn of events led to a crises-induced depression for Muse; but it also ignited another fire. What started out as a stress reliever, became an obsession, and she quickly vowed to live the rest of her life as an inspiration to others, through her art. Adrienne began painting live at events around Los Angeles. Soon her artwork caught the attention of television networks like Oxygen and VH1. In 2014 she started teaching Janeeka how to paint. After painting for a few months, Janeeka’s first painting "FLOTUS" of Michelle Obama went viral on the internet, shared and retweeted by A-Listers and top blog sites in just a single day. This particular painting was featured in The Huffington Post. “We want to make art that inspires the viewer to look within themselves to create a better life”. -Madam Muse
